help with wordpress permalink problem

I install my new wordpress blog. The problem is when I try to change the Permalink custom into /%postname%/ Some of my blog post url and all of the Blog category encounter 404 Not found

what is the solution into this?

Can tell me where you change the permalinks ?
We can change the permalinks while write a new post and also in the setting in admin are. Tell me where you changed that.

 

I am guessing your .htaccess file is not being updated.

agree with craiger22, maybe your host not allowed .htaccess changes or your file privillage is not allowed you to edit file

not long ago i had this problem because i use freehosting, the solution you can upload your .htaccess file and place it on your root
