I set up 4 forums with multiple child categories....for some reason they all show up as categories except 1.

I wanted to have only the 4 forums show up on the landing page and the child categories show when you open the forum link.

    my url is www.greenerbusinessbureau.com/forum

Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated

You want the subcategories to appear on the frontpage?

Well, basically what you need to do is to setup that childforum on a parentforum, not a category.

Actually no, just edit the categories position by editing that specific forum and adding them as childforums for a specific forum.

Loco....yes I have edited them...I've tried everything I know to make it right.

Meti...when I set it up that is what I did...but only one of the forums appears correctly - the rest look like child forums...even though they are not set up that way.

When I look at the admincp....everything looks correct, but when I look at the front end it is not correct.

Here's part of the list...how it looks in the admin

I don't think anything seems wrong, except that "Solutions", in the "Act as a forum" field should be set to "NO".

I had wanted for forums: Information, Issues, Solutions, Green Group

each of those has child forums

only the four forums were supposed to show on the main page...

You'll need to edit the forum display like I said ;)

    Here is where you go.

admincp > vboptions > Forum Listings Display Options

This is where you can set which layer of forums is visible form the forumhome and from the forumdisplay.

    cheers
