I have a vbulletein forum but I am kinda new to the software. Anyway the header of my skin has a nav bar, but when I am on the portal and click the forums tab it only refreshes the portal page and the same goes when I am on the forums page and click the home button it only refreshes the forum page, can anybody tell me where I can edit this to do what i want?
I believe www.vbulletin.org is more than a perfect place for this question to get answered. You are not mentioning that clearly, are you using the vbportal hack?
you should mention which portal mod you installed so we can help you better. anyway, whats the name of your forum index? a certain portal mod require you to rename it to something like forum.php.
