Hello everybody. I've never really sold banner space much, so I need some opinions. I have a site .. www.watchentourage.com. I am looking to sell banner space where the adbrite banners currently are: sitewide top, sitewide right panel, sitewide bottom. There is also an additional banner above each video. My site receives over 1,000 uniques per day (an average of about 2400 visits per day) with an average of about 15,000 page views per day. 0s-30s 43.2 % 30s-2mn 11.7 % 2mn-5mn 5.3 % 5mn-15mn 5.2 % 15mn-30mn 6.4 % 30mn-1h 12.4 % 1h+ 29.1 % This is the percentage of my visitors that stay for x minutes. As you can see 30% stay for an hour or more, which is a huge amount. So what do you think each of the banners could/should sell for? Thanks in advance.
I'll try my best to guess, but think lowest eCPM is .05 so that's .75 cents a day. For a month that would be $22.5. That would probably be minimum.
Well I may as well leave up adbrite then which pays garbage. I was thinking more like $60+ per month for the top banner and $50+ per month for the other banners, since receives roughly 350,000+ page views per month. The 3 banners there are sitewide, so they'd get all of the impressions. I've been looking and applying for CPM networks that payout higher per thousand impressions. Anything more 25 cents per thousand impressions would make my site very profitable, it's just very hard to find networks that allow the content of Entourage. Thanks for your evalutation, any other opinions?
