I am trying to install the free version of the "Free PHP Directory Script" offered by Biz Directory.

It ask for an existing database name. I don't have an existing database. How can I create one?

In your site control panel, there should be a place to create a database if your host does indeed offer mysql on their server. If you tell us your host and the plan you are signed up for, we can probably offer more advice.

Note: over at www.phplinkdirectory.com we are offering free support.

I have a database called webmagnets and it has a table called an_members. I don't know what the an_members is from.

I put webmagnets as the database name in the config file, but it still doesn't work.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I called my host support line and they gave me the correct password and now it is working.
