Hi Friends, I am looking for some help to setup my website. I don't know much about site design and web hosting. I want to start an affiliate site but don't know where to start from. Also I am looking for cheap options of getting started with. It wwould be really helpful if some one can help me with this information.
Well there are many ways to get started. The first thing you'll need is a host and domain name. Selecting a domain name can take weeks, so don't rush it. Once you've found one, buy it quickly before someone else does. Next comes selecting a host, which is extremely difficult. Don't buy hosting from the sites people advertise on here. They're crap. Any host in the BST section is almost guaranteed overselling or waiting to scam you. Go with a reputable hosting company that will offer good support. Remember, price is not the priority, you want quality. Someone that offers $1 per month is an over selling scammer. Now comes an even harder part, finding out what to make your website with! I'd google solutions such as Wordpress, Joomla, or a new service called SquareSpace. These solutions will allow you to get a website up and running quickly without having to worry about coding and designing.
