Hey, im the kind of person who dosent enjoy working for anyone, and im not financially stable enough to start a buisness, so im looking for some ideas of items to sell on ebay. with the research ive done so far, it seems that buying items wholesale and reselling then is a profitibale buisness. i would just like some advice and suggestoins on what are good items to sell. Thanks
I think with Ebay it has to super niche or used to get anywhere. There's too much price gouging going on.
That's a question that can't really be answered in a short reply. I suggest reading up on the subject in forums and blogs. If you are short in cash, learning HTML will get you a long ways. When I first started in 2003 or 2004 I barely knew how to turn on a computer. I first found a product and then tried to get people to build sites for me. After getting over charged and having relatives that weren't willing to do it for free, I learned HTML. And built my own site. Then I hung out in an SEO forum to learn the tricks of the trade. Last year my 1st website that I ever built helped me put a down payment on a house. Now I'm working on building and promoting other product sites that will eventually replace my income that I currently earn working 40-50 hours a week.
Damn, thats pretty crazy. i dont know if this is the kind of buisness im gonna stick to, but Ebay seems liek a pretty efficient temporary source of income. Does anyone know any good Light Wholesalers, or any wholesalers that will sell lots for cheaper than a couple hundred dollars?
Being a 'Superseller' Is much better. But then you need really positive comments for thousands of items. . .
Firstly dont pay for your wholesalers info/contact details. (there listed on google for free) May be hard to find 1 but when you do it's worth it. try these for starters dollardays.com hotbuy4u.com (those 2 are pretty good i believe for small $$ value items to get you started. I'm in the uk so i've never used them personnaly but have heard good things. And when you find a good dropshipper/wholesaler look on ebay before you buy,If the dropshipper can get it that cheap so can ebay power sellers.Thats where the big sellers make there money, Buying straight from the source (importing from china etc..) And when/if you find that niche DONT tell anyone.
Seeing the same type of questions asked over and over about how to find drop shippers inspired me to write a couple of articles in my new blog about the topic: http://www.webpuffs.com/category/finding-products-to-sell/ It might help you more in depth Titanz890. Later on I'm going to post all the drop shippers that I ever came accross in my blog. Obviously, I won't talk about the ones I currently use.
I'm starting to put up some dropshippers that I'm aware of in my blog. Check it out some time. I'm going to be adding some nearly every day until I run out.
damn, thanks man thats so tight. do u have an email or screenname or something, cuz u seem to klnow what your talking about and i have some questions.
theres still plenty of money to be made on ebay if you know how. id recommend starting out on ebay. when you do things right its the cheapest form of quality traffic available. third party studies shows that ebay traffic can convert more than 100% better than other serps traffic - so long as you have a solid reputation. reputation is everything on ebay
One of our nieces goes to goodwill store and buys childrens jeans and clothes. Goodwill has practically brand new clothes for as low as 10 cents! Then she takes them and decorates them with patches, painting on them, even has her little daughter help her. Then puts them on ebay and makes darn good money! Check ebay and the categories, find a nice niche where there are few sellers and lots of bidders. We put on a whatever it is called (old age means you forget sometimes), that was not working (needed a new chip) and actually sold it for more than I thought we would get for it. Then today, found (we just moved) a box of brand new pur water filters for a pitcher we no longer have. These filters go for like 15 bucks apiece in stores. So put the entire box of 3 on ebay for 18 bucks and shipping charges. Bottom line, you can do it on ebay if you find that niche, have the products, and are willing to spend time every day taking care of business. In our little town (about 400 people or so) there is actually someone who does ebay full time by handling other people's goods. You bring the items to him, he takes pictures, etc and puts them up for sale.
