Hey people, I'm kind of a newbie so I wouldn't know but, I was wondering for a friends website he wants background music through a player on his site or something like that. The problem is he has a video but he wants only the music on it no the video and he's needing some help trying to find out about how to separate them so he can have the music only. Anyone help please? Thanks! Reece -
Let me see if I understand you correctly... He has a video WITH SOUND on his website...and he wants to strip-off the audio of the video and replace it with the music? Most video editors will let you split the audio and video tracks and then replace the audio track. Another option that is equivelent is to drop the volume level of the existing audio track so that it is silent, then you can add an additional audio track and you get the same result. I have not used Windows Movie Maker, but if you have access to it I would give that a try. You can also try downloading "trial" versions of video editing software (look over at www.ulead.com for a start...). As long as they do not watermark his video during the "production" process, that will work as well. Otherwise, send me a PM, but I think you can probably do this yourself without much trouble. Good Luck!
