I created a sitemap for my site www.weeklyromance.com and tried to submit it to google. They said it wasn't formatted correctly. What is the proper format to submit it. Please check out my sitemap, they are all links to the corresponding pages. Thanks in advance for any help

If you want to create the sitemap by yourself........you have to read the docs on this website: http://www.sitemaps.org/

Aren't there websites that will automatically create your sitemap - in XML format?

You can get a sitemap made for you, using http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/. They generate your site map in acceptable formats and all you have to do is put it on your site, or even better you can just save the sitemap.html file in your root directory. :)

adventurenz's method is by far the easiest. Also xml-sitemaps gives you priority options and a range of export options.

You don't have many pages in your site. You can create XML sitemap Manually and submit to webmaster Account.
