    Hi,

Which is the best way to backup your sites and your server ?especially when have large database and the 3 sites are around 2 GB each?
With CPANEL backup the server <<freeze>> , especially when uses pkzip processor load is around 85%.
Can I make with rsync or other:confused:

Try incremental Backup that should help you. If you have any problems in configuring it, please add me on messenger so that I can assist you further.

if you don't have raid, then you may use cronjob.
method of transfer would be scp, of course, you need to go for password less scp (same as password less ssh) for security reasons.

You can use rsync for taking incremental backups.
    scp is also fine.

If you have another server, like backup server, then you can pair these two servers and you can rsync or scp files without entering root passwords every time.

    Take a look at www.rsyncpalace.com

I have had a problem with them before many months , so I disconnected their service. It was $4.95 per month at that time. I hope they fixed all problems.

If the sites are too large, you might want to contact with vendor providing R1soft backup solution. By that way, you dont need to backup the whole things. Check with Scott at bqbackup.com
