my sister sold a digital product on here site (she doesn't want to reveal) she used a paypal buy button and sell had some sales, and she bought some stuff with the same paypal account and one of the people who bought chargeback the transaction and the account funds are frozen until the deal is settled with... The problem is she now has a -$10 on her account and she wants to give the refund, but she doesn't know how to refund the person... (i don't have a clue how paypal works) but if I send the $10 can she then refund the person? I'm really confused... thanks.
As I know a PayPal account can usually receive money while it is frozen. Then you can simply refund the money and contact the paypal to enable it.
There should be a refund button on the that transaction. Do not just send the money directly to the person. Find the transaction, go to the bottom and and click issue refund. It will issue all the fee's and the customer's payment as well.
no you cant send fund to your sister but she might be able to refund the person just like the few others said since shes having negative fund in it, i am not so sure if she can do that but it can be done if she has fund in her pp acc
No, that might not be considered a refund by the other person or Paypal. It would just be recommended to issue them a refund at the bottom of the transaction summary.
