Help with Paypal please!

    I need some help...

    For some reason or another I have a Premier account on paypal when I want a personal account (so that I don't have a deduction fee). I confirmed my address with paypal and my bank account if that helps...

    Can someone tell me how I can change to a personal account (or does it change to premier when you sign up a bank account??)

    dude i am not sure how can you change it back to normal but what i know is - bank account confirmation has nothing to do with account type
    the best you can do is simply send a mail to the help center and they will let you know how to convert that back
    actually there is a link on the my account page of paypal which ask you to get a business account
    not sure if that provides the option for personal account as well

    anyways try to use helpdesk

    I e-mailed them....if they don't change it back I'll just create a new account and close the other one :(

    We appreciate that you have tried our PayPal Premier account. In accordance
    with your request, your PayPal account has been downgraded from Premier to
    a Personal account. Please note that with a Personal account, you will only
    be able to receive limited credit or debit card-funded payments and all
    payments received from eBay, Auctions, and Website Payments buttons (e.g.
    Buy Now Buttons, PayPal Shopping Basket or Subscriptions payments), will be
    limited to the equivalent of $500.00 USD per month. (This monthly limit
    applies to all US, UK and Canadian Personal accounts.)

    You are only permitted to downgrade from a Business/Premier account to a
    Personal account once. If you would like to upgrade your account to a
    Business/Premier account in the future, it will remain a Business/Premier
    account for the lifetime of the account.

    Please note that if you receive a credit card payment to your Personal
    account or exceed your monthly Receiving Limit, you will be given the
    choice to accept or refuse the payment. You can only accept a limited
    number of credit or debit card payments before your Personal account will
    have to be upgraded to a Premier account.

    There are no fee adjustments or refunds on payments received by a
    Business/Premier account.
