I was doing some thinking of your problem superstan. Are these complaints the first you've really had? Have you sold a lot with no problems? If you've sold the software 20 times before hand without a problem for customers, I'll tell you what I'd do. I'd raise the price. People complain and want money back for two reasons. A. Your product sucks. B. They expect the world and than some on a budget. These are the people that buy a cheap car and complain that it doesn't run like a $100,000 car. Assuming your product doesn't suck, sell it for more. It'll keep dicks from buying it. Also, if you really believe in your product(which you should if you're selling it), you should have a 30 day money back guarantee. This will help you sell your product. A lot of people are reluctant to invest $100+ on some software and not have any idea how it works. They're going to buy it because it adds security if your product blows. I know how you feel though. When you have software, it feels like the person is getting the software for free when you refund their money. Best thing to do is change the way your software works. If it has to communicate with a central server, and you can shut off people's accounts, than you don't have to worry about people just taking advantage of you.
i sold around 20 and this is the first complaint. many of the customers are satisfied by my service that they wrote positive reviews some dont bother at all and never showed up to ask me a single question.
It only took a day though? he couldn't have disputed it that quickly, I'm sure by law you must allow a reasonable amount of time. Maybe it was just a stolen credit card, in which case you are 100% responsible. Sorry! The joys of PayPal!
god knows man. what was the thing. but, i left the thing that happened and learned a lesson. also, guys here like stallion, and others told me many gud things to avoid re-occurance in future. i gonna be extra careful the next time i see some dollars in my acccount.
friends, one of the case opened by one of my stupid buyer was closed immediately by paypal. Paypal says: case doesnt meet filing guidlines and Paypal shows status of case: Deferred. but it also shows, Case Closed ! the funds are available for me. what does this exactly mean ?
I'll agree with this. Sometimes, it is best just to cut your losses. The more time you spend screwing around with angry customers, the more frustrated you will become. It's just bad news bears.
