    I have a small business in India. My clients are based in different cities. I generally have to travel these cities to get payment. My clients are insisting that I should open a PayPal Account, so they'll be able to send money directly into my account.

    I was considering opening a Business Account, I have a Bank Account With Business Name and I can verify my PayPal account with a credit card.

    But my close friend says that since I do not have a website of the business and my monthly income is below $1000 which is low for Business Account. I should not open a Business Account.

    He says that PayPal will trouble me consistently for documents and other stuff. According to him I should open a premium account with my business name "Kites Solutions". He says to enter "Kites" as first name and "Solutions" as last name in premium account and use it until I grow my business further to open a Business Account in PayPal.

    What you think would be best thing to do. Should I go for "Business Account" or "Premium Account". Also could someone tell me what documents PayPal will require for business account'

    Thanks.

    That fake naming solution will make troubles for you, you won't be able to provide ID Card/Bills upon request under "Kites Solutions" name, which is actually your Company, not your name.

    * Business Bank Account
    * LetterHead
    * Business Card
    * Proof of business
    * many more which you can't imagine
    remember they go nuts when it comes to verify yourself using your Documents, so prepare yourself for this :D

    A premium account will suffice if your monthly income is below $10,000

    Since your clients are located in different cities but in India itself, you can surely open a bank account with any private bank and request your customers to deposit the money through cheque in the same bank in their respective city branches or even better...transfer you money through net banking! :)

    What is the need to open a Paypal account and take currency risk? :confused:

    All these domestic companies pay through credit cards or paypal. Which is why they are asking me for a PayPal account.I am also in talks with couple of international companies. I hope to get some work from them as well. That's why I am pushing for PayPal Account.

    My income is less than $1,000. I would have gone for premium account but I need account with my business name. First I was thinking of opening a premium account with my Business Name "Kites Solutions" and verify it with my business account. But "Radz" said it won't work.

    I have a very small business which I operate from home and its not registered. I don't know what documents they are going to ask.

    Yeah, it's just a trouble if you don't have any payment processor. But you can use another, right?
    Not only paypal I mean, maybe alertpay..., moneybookers... or the other.
    If I become you, maybe I choose business account as your friend suggest. You're a newbie, you shouldn't bother to take premium if you can't suffice the $10.000

    My Friend suggests I should use Premium not Business. The problem with Premium is that I can't use my business name unless I sign up for an account with my business name which "Radz" suggests would get me in trouble.
