Hi, I need to write a simulation to show how viruses propagate across a network. I'm going to be using Java and my outcome is that I want to be able to plug data into the model so I can analyse the way that a virus would spread across the network, analysing the difference if there are more machines, if some are immune to the virus (have protection of some kind) etc. The problem I have is that I don't really know where to start. If anyone has any ideas or could provide me with a starting point or some info then that would be really helpful. Thank you in advance
You don't know where to start? The last time I didn't know where to start on a project I was inexperienced and years away from making something worthwhile. This may sound rather cruel but if you need to ask where to start you may not be capable of even finishing the project.
