Hello, I currently have a deluxe hosting package over at GoDaddy.com. I originally only had one wordpress blog running, but chose to expand, thats why I upgraded to deluxe. I created new directories ( all with the names of my new blogs I wish to create ) installed wordpress on each of the directories, and everythign went smooth. Keep in mind I also have registered domains for all of the new blogs im setting up. Here is my problem: When I go to the new Blog Domain ( Ex. www.NewBlogNameHere.net ) it goes to my site perfectly and in the URL BAR it says www.BlogNameHere.net, but if I click ANYTHING on the site, including the Home button, About button, anything at all, it automatically puts my ROOT/PRIMARY domain into the URL bar at top. Ex. If I we're to click the About me Page, it would show up as follows: www.MyPrimaryDomain.net/MyNewBlogsDirectory, instead of doing www.NewBlogNameHere.net/About Why is this? It is driving me crazy because my root/primary domain has nothing to do with my new blogs, therefore when it shows up it makes no sense at all to be up there! Is there anyway to fix this so only my domain name shows up ? I even called GoDaddy, and they said it can be done through the script, but I'm not quite sure as to how to go about that... [ If you really want to see what I mean, Simply go to www.fastfoodreview.info - Click the Home or About me button and then look at your Address Bar, You will see my primary domain pop up in front of the directory name ... ] Any help is greatly appreciated!
Nobody is able to help me ? Maybe I tried to explain too much... In Simple Terms, My Wordpress blogs all install based off of my ROOT domain, or also known as the primary domain. So instead of www.MyBlogName.com/PageName - It instead shows up as www.MyRootDomain.com/DirectoryName I hope someone can help!
oh, now i get it you need to change your main domain in wordpress admin panel under Settings>General. If that doesn't fix your problem, check your config file manually and see whats under directory path * when i check your domain i see that it's parked, is that normal? Cheers!
