Help with money making and investing in websites

What do you suggest is the first thing I'd do if i was looking to make a good amount of cash out of a website???

 

It depends on your intent...are you interested in truly "investing in websites" whereby you buy websites, increase their value/improve monetization? Or just making money by creating websites.

no buy,build and keep them to make money off of them.

 

then i think the first thing you should do is the sign up for adsense and learn how to drive traffic to a website

adsense is free
but without a qaulity website your screwed

adsense pays you when visitors click on advertisings

but you need to have a website of your own
or have someone willing to share

The easiest thing to do is buy a website in a niche you're familiar with (subject matter). Depending on your budget, you may also look to purchase websites with existing traffic or revenue (though they will cost more). The greatest mistake you can avoid is to stick to things you know (this is, after all, an investment - not an experiment). Buying a website pushing affiliate sales isn't probably the best idea if you have know idea how the industry works, etc. Know the monetization strategy they use, or you plan to use.

Mostly just do thorough research, and think of ways that you would improve the prospective website, before making bids, or buying.

and what exactly is a proxy site???

proxy = anonymous surfing. bypass firewalls for entrance to blocked sites in school

 

maybe a little more detail..... what EXACTLY is it... and how do you earn cash off of it... I know I'm probably being a pain with this just really want to make some good decisions!!!

well i'm currently building up my budget but as of now i have about $20 to invest... not much but im willing to do soe work to make a good website... I'd like to invest in something that will eventually earn me $20 a month.
