I think I have a blog added to my site and wanted to know if anyone can give me feedback as to how the blog displays on your screen. Have integrated with my existing site in order to blog weekly kart setups to my viewing audience. Let me know if you have any problems viewing the blog. Still need to customize the actual colors and layout of the blog but i was focusing on stylyig the blog into my site. Have tested it in in FireFox and IE. Thanks www.ddkarting.com/blog/index.php
No compatibility problems on Mac/Safari. The blue text links in the right column (Pages, About, Archives, etc) are difficult to read on that red background. You might want to rethink the "hot deals" text just above the adsense ads.
in Firefox on Mac, I can echo all of tflight's observations. Othewrwise, fine. Also, after you get rid of that illegal "Hot Deals" text, you should wrap the adsense in a set of <center> tags within their current div.
WOW Thanks you guys. I am as new to AdSense as I am too SEO and noone ever told me that was illegal. Is Google Deals considered legal? Also I have not actually modified the actual blog itself yet thus the reason the blue links. I do plan on integrating the entire blog to tie in with the feel and look of the rest of the site. Also got this message on the log in page: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/home2/ddkar645/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/default/functions.php:786) in /usr/home2/ddkar645/public_html/blog/wp-login.php on line 9 Any particular reason why because the only modification I made was actually integrating the log in screen into the site as well. Thanks again for the help and heads up Fixed it. Thanks!
No, Google Deals is also forbidden. The Adsense Terms of Service agreement outlines what is acceptible. I don't know the URL, but I'm sure you can easily find it. I can advise about editing the markup of a WP blog, but when you start mucking about with the PHP, that's out of my league. You may want to ask in DP's PHP forum or at the WP support forums.
Thanks again for the feedback. I actually had read through the Adsense terms earlier when you sent the feedback and missed the link in the terms that pointed to the Adsense Program Policies. I have now modified all the pages to properly pass the Adsense Policy. Thanks again because the last thing I want is to be black flagged from AdSense....I hoping this will bring my son enough money to buy a new set of tires at the end of the year Below is the insert from their policy: Labeling Ads Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads. FYI...I have already fixed the php issue. did some slight modification to the functions page and forgot to uploaded the new page....heh
