I have a problem finding a file that was on my desktop when I left office on saturday. Today when I started my PC, the file wasn't on desktop It was a Microsoft Office Word 2007 file with a format .docx and it had some really important data in it but that file has disappeared. I have tried the System Restore thing on 5 different dates but the file is not there When I started Microsoft Office Word 2007, it showed the same file in the left vertical menu and it was saying, the file wasn't closed or something like that but when I clicked on it, I got the message, file not found Is there any way I can recover that file? Help!!!!!
I have tried that and used the Windows search function. It scanned C,D,E,F and at the end, it showed the file but it was a shortcut. Upon clicking, file doesn't exist ;(
Use some data recovery softwares and search for your deleted files. Also search the drive where the particular file was missing..
Hi, There is this weird symbol appearing whenever i turn on the microsoft word 2007. could someone please help me with this problem as to how i can fix it or what might be causing that symbol to appear. Thank you.
That "weird symbol" just shows you where the line breaks (ends), it won't show up when you print the document. There's a show/hide button for it in one of the toolbars so you can turn it off if you want to.
That's great infomation, there is free word 2007 tutorial in my signature that will help you use the latest features
Another great option with Word 2007 is the Word to PDF converter that is available as a download if you version does not have it yet. Just do a Google search for Word 2007 to PDF converter. It works really well!
And if you are using Word 2010, the word to pdf converter is already included in the installation. Just click file/save as, and at the bottom of the new window, you will see files of type, then select PDF.
