Help with marketing

    I have created a website for my father for his business, was wondering if anyone could point to a guide on the most effective way to get a good marketing plan, this could probaly fit in SEO as well, but it relates to general marketing because i need to figure out how to find some good keywords and what not to add on his page, then ill worrry about search engine submission

    I wrote a blog post that might help you awhile back. Also submitting to search engines wont help you at all. Maybe posting your niche will get you better responses also. Heres the post..

    I'd recommend buying seobook (seobook.com) if you are just starting out. The book covers everything you need to know including marketing tactics, keywords and stuff you have not thought off. I have a book simular to this one and can send you a copy if you want (PM me)

    Also, just keep reading posts on this forum and SEO blogs to implanting SEO info into your head! :)

    One of the best SEO blogs I read is: seomoz.org
