Hey guys, as you can tell I registered yesterday, and wanted to get started with my own website right away. I need a lot of tips, and believe me I'm in the need of money, due to my sister is getting married in February, and I'm on a budget of $8 in my paypal! So I wanted to make a website that will make me some good money! I don't care what the topic is, I just need that AdSense money. So please give me some advice, and tips on what my website should be about, and If you guys are willing to donate a domain amd some free hosting, I'll let you advertise on my website! So please give me TONS of Tips on which category my site should be on, and some help! Thanks, SDN
Hmmm, i'm not sure you would be a good fit for internet marketing. Internet marketing is an industry that often takes time. If you think you can throw up any old website and make a killing on Adsense you are sorely mistaken. Find a topic you are interested in, then start building a website around it. When you start marketing your website properly and begin to get traffic, then think about monetizing it. As is, if you need money by February and hope to get it off Adsense in that time, you're on crack dude. Think about content writing if you need some quick money.
Well, I just need to pay somewhat of the wedding. I needed to buy her a gift, so atleast $1,000 by February. I don't know what I'm interested in, I like Moniterizing Forums, but only if they are vBulletin.
Go with content writing then. You'll have to work your tail off for the $1,000, but it's the only way I know of that you would be guaranteed the money. Ideally, if you need money that quickly you should probably go get a job locally.
try getting leads(in my sig) , n build a site on it , put form on it , and tell friends to fill the form for u , 15 forms would be enough to give her a $1000 gift
PHPgator is right. There is no quick buck to be made on the internet, regardless of what you may hear on the radio and TV. It takes time and work, alot of time and alot of work.
people who start internet marketing with their only aim being to make a lot of money usually always fail. People who treat internet marketing as a business are the ones who succeed BIGSTYLE
erm not really , i made a site on a good keyword so adsense pays me more than $5 per clicks and i use leads so i get $85 per lead , my site is one month old and i have made 500 out if it
Ok, I am willing to take the time and use Internet marketing as a business, and as a primary job. Anyone know what I should have my content about? If you donate me a domain, I will let you advertise on my site for 1 full month If you donate me hosting, I will let you advertise on my site for 1 full month as well.
Like most say, it does take time. I tried multiple things for months and months until I finally figured out my way and my first actual source of online income resulted in $300 a month on one project. It has lasted quite some time but who is to say it couldnt stop at any time. It is hard to repeat certain things as well. Just keep trying and one of these times you will hopefully hit a good system that works. I know I am always trying new ways. Good luck, keep thinking!
Well, lots of people like you want to make money online, and still many failed for kinds of reasons. Now,you even don't have any plan on your business, and want to earn a mount of money.Do you think it's credible?Maybe you should buy some stocks to make quick money. It's quick.
SDN, if you want to make $1000 by february than adsense is definitely NOT the way to go. Especially considering you'll have to hit a minimum threshold and wait a month to get paid, etc... You could try PPC advertising as the returns are quicker because you are paying for the traffic but it also costs money and takes time to learn. As phpgator said the best thing to do would be content writing. The idea is that you put a 'wanted' ad up in the wanted section saying that you'll write for $0.02/word (or whatever price you decide). Then people give you a list of things they want written about. It'll definitely take a while to get good at it but you can make $1000 by February this way.
You can create an account with blogspot.com and start building your pages. or register at keepern.com (You can post affiliate links there for you to earn commissions).
i would say go and get a job at macdonalds and save up like any other person the internet money making world takes time and effort sounds like your in a rush.
I agree with those saying to find an offline job if making this money is really important. If you are a noob without real webmaster skills, there is about a 1% chance you'll make your $1,000 by then. Some people might tell you differently, but they are just idiots wanting you to sign up to programs using their ref code.
Hi SDN, You can also just practice on your contents by researching more topics that pay a lot of interest from the viewers. You can also check this one out, which someone has sent me and I think it has good details about learning: www.massoutsource.com
I'm sure it can be done somehow, it's just that it usually doesn't go down like that. I know people who started blogs on wordpress, blogged like crazy for six months, started getting loads and loads of traffic and yet, they had not even seen a dollar yet, because they were on a free wordpress instance. Then they had to pay a developer money to create and move their blog to a custom wordpress blog where they could have their own ads, and wait it out, all the while blogging like crazy to keep the audience engaged through the transition. Took almost an entire year for them to start seeing good money coming from their hardwork. Easy money is hard to find, plus it usually comes with some god-awful catch.
Could it be done? Sure. Is it likely? No. I mean, yeah, you're going to see some people that have had a ton of success with their website. Generally that doesn't happen though so it would be like going to the casino and hoping to win a thousand bucks to buy your sister that present you want to get her. Just go back and read some of the "Challenges" people have attempted here on the forums for themselves. GEnerally it is someone wants to try to gain some credibility by making a specific amount of money in a short period of time. They often have good theories and ideas, stretching themselves to the limits in amount of time it takes, etc. Then, they usually fail by a wide margin or just give up before they ever get started. This isn't the way to go about internet marketing. You can make money online, but it will take time and if you're in a time crunch I wouldn't recommend internet marketing as your method to get that $1000 you are needing by February.
