    Hi,

I own a relatively large forum:

    http://swapitshoplounge.co.uk/

I am currently earning only $2 a day from my Google Ads. This is soley from one image ad at the top, below the navbar. I just added the same image ad below the first two posts of each page, and will see results in the next few days.

I dont use text ads because they are always come up with the same ads which nobody is interested in. They are never relevant to posts on each page.

Can anyone give me tips on how to increase my earnings?

    Thanks!

    Yes it will! :)

Never do that if you have big sites like yours.

Try CPM ads from a good ad network coz you must be having
much page impressions but less CTR.

    Thanks

Try affiliate offers relevant to your content. CJ, Azoogle, neverblue, copeac etc.

I'm also searching for good one.

I'd seen somewhere a site which was giving around $5 per 1000 impression, but i forgot..

What about starting a new thread regarding this together. :)

One is too less. You can easily make 10$ and more with more ads.

Another must is the google search. Add that you'll see some great results.

I don't share my niche, as this is one of my main sites, but the CPM is probably between $0.50 and $0.60... If you want to sign up, I can PM you a referral link and we can split the referral bonus...

Adsense CTR in my forum was horribly low. About a year ago i started using Kontera, and it's now earning 100% - 125% more than Adsense does on my entire site. It's had it's ups and downs, but recently it's been doing great.

I applied for valueclickmedia a while ago, but they rejected my forum...
I would like to use Kontera but my members are extremely against any adverts at all, and Im sure Kontera would upset them more than anything!

So you believe that all your earnings would come from clicks by non-members, and there is no point in showing them to members?

I think this policy is universally accepted for forums.. for example our DP.
