Okay, I was doing fine with froogle until they changed to google base. I've read that you can add attributes and labels which are kind of like keywords. I really want to add these, but I'm very confused as to HOW to use these. I'm thinking the the attributes go in the first row that names the columns. One attribute might be "Size" and then you'd put king, or whatever in the column below. Am I right? Labels I'm totally lost on. Could someone please help me out with this? Thanks so much! Shelly
Shelly, The attributes do replace the old terms in the header (first) row. Some are the same but the whole list is here: http://google.com/base/help/tab_attributes.html The "label" attribute should be in your file. In the field for that attribute Google says: "A list of phrases related to the item. Up to ten relevant, user-selected labels can be included and will be used to match your item to queries. An individual label is limited to 40 characters. Each label will be checked for compliance. Be sure to include a comma between each label. Examples: • Good (events): vip, front row, backstage,Madison Square Garden, rock,KROCK 101.5,parking passes • Good (vehicles): leather, power locks, sunroof, air conditioning,6 speaker,ABS,V6 • Bad: vip front row backstage" So, these are keywords and keyword phrases. Note there is no space between the terms and the commas. Remember: No more than 10 of these and no single label more than 40 characters long. Good luck!
Thank-you soooo much! I've been confused about this for some time and you cleared it all up for me in a matter of minutes! Shelly
