Help With Keyword Ranking

I'm trying to rank in Google for keyword "modeling" for my site http://www.musicandmodeling.com. I have the keyword in my title description and in the content. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

modeling is a very general keyword and for you to get any decent ranking, your website has to be linked by alot of other websites.

Start building up links, one way links. Write articles and use the word "modeling" to link to your website.

You are going to need about 150k links to rank in the top 10 for that word- so better get cracking on those links

 

Hello. Well according to me, you should create links with keyword "modeling" as well as search for another close related keyword by keyword analysing tool such as "wordze.com" so as to get a better result.

 

Definately try to get long-tail keywords in. To get rank for that word on its own will take years and a lot of effort to build the credibility

 

You should try to focus on ranking for some less competitive search terms as well
because modeling is such a competitive term it will take a long time to achieve the
results you would like to get.

You should be consistently adding backlinks to your site and your results will come
in due time.

 

Concentrate on keyword phrases that will convert better for you. Modeling can apply to so many things that you should really narrow it down.
