Alright guys, I recently have started a new project and I had to use joomla as it had the plugin I wanted (hwd) I am used to wordpress and this is my first time using Joomla, I purchased a template http://www.zootemplate.com/demo/zt_apogo/ however, I installed it and (www.minecraftvideo.com) it does not have the carousel, and the video player, I need to integrate this all with hwd video share. Another BIG problem is I cannot make it so members can upload files from they're computer it is not showing up some reason, If you can help me please add me on msn and I am willing to pay! Thanks Kc
What they did for that template was add some sort of flash slideshow extension, maybe this one, http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/flash-slideshow/13704 I hate it when they present a nice template all decked out, you buy it, install, whoa, doesn't look like what won you over. You just need to keep customizing till you're satisfied. There are many other slideshow extensions available, I only listed what I thought. Another solution might be to contact zootemplate and ask which extension they used to get the home page slideshow. The hwd component will not show on the home page as it's a component and needs to be assigned to a menu item to be viewed.
