Help with Javascript setting a timeline to this

Hi - I have got this show / hide content script from dyanamic drive. Does anyone know how to alter the code so that it would open the new content on a specificed time scale - IE so that the "show" content does no suddenly appear/disappear but opens in a nice scrolling motion?
