Hi, I run a Joomla site and I would like to integrate CJ links and banners within the site. I would like put the links in the article sections (content area) as well as any banner or advertisement modules. I have been able to insert the CJ Html into all areas of my website for text links and product links. I cannot insert any of the HTML or Java for CJ affiliate banners. This is a problem as I would like to have article pages with a banner embedded within it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can insert the HTML or Java code directly into the article pages? I try to put the code into the article source and nothing show up. Joomla appears to disagree with the banner web addresses, as I can insert the URL for a totally different image and the code works, but as soon as I put the true banner image CJ gives, nothing works... Thanks for the help as this has been driving me nuts!
Okay here is a solution... When you are editing articles go to the "HTML" link located in the bar above the content area... and there place the HTML code from CJ and it will work... Hope this helps...
This works for straight up text links, or even hyperlinking an image. BUT... When I try to put in the code for the banners specifically specifically from CJ nothing shows up, as if there is nothing there at all. Text links and product linbks work fine, but not banner links. It appears that Joomla doesn't like the URL for the banner images, as when I put in a different image URL in (some random google image) everything shows up fine...
Which is your site... i dont think you have got my point how to insert the banner... i have also placed the same type of html banners from cj and its working... just see HERE
Sorry, I was using a different editor than the stock one. I switched it back to the install editor, I see the proper HTML link. That brings me to the html source, which I had access to in the other editor I was using, and in both editors the html CJ gives me for the banner add does not work. Here is the code for one of the banners: <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-3061412-9482441" target="_top"> <img src="http://www.tqlkg.com/image-3061412-9482441" width="468" height="60" alt="" border="0"/></a> This does nothing, but if I replace the img src with a random google url such as this: <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-3061412-9482441" target="_top"> <img src="http://www.tdot.state.tn.us/incident/help/images/help1.gif" width="468" height="60" alt="" border="0"/></a> everything works fine, the image I do not want links through my affiliate link, but the CJ image does not... The CJ image is also certainly online as I have checked the links directly.
