    Well I was hoping for someone to paste an example of where the place the google ads at within the file. But the link you provided should take all that trouble away. Lets just have a look at it right now....

    the ad mod will work for you. it places your ads pretty much wherever you want them. on the sides, in between posts, top and bottom and in between. :D

    your not using the core / default theme.
    does it work on that theme?

    i'm not sure off hand if the ad mod installs on the classic theme.

    I got it working with displaying html and php ads, but it doesn't seem to be able to spit out the adsense ads that use javascript.

    Alright I'm fed up with this mod.... NEXT please.

    post this at SMF and see how far it gets you.

    i have never had problems displaying adsense ads using the ad management mod with SMF.

    go ask them

    In the third box you could add something like this.. displays an ad up the top of every page.

    // The main sub template above the content.
    function template_main_above()
    {

    //ads
    echo '
    <center><br />
    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-xxxxxxxxxx";
    google_ad_width = 728;
    google_ad_height = 15;
    google_ad_format = "728x15_0ads_al";
    google_ad_channel = "";
    //-->
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>

    I'm pretty sure that it does, I believe smf uses javascript documents itself.

    I have been able to get adsense working with that mod.

    Heres another solution.

    Install the adsense revenue sharing mod but set it up in the admin section that only you get 100% of impresions.

    You will be bale to place adsense wherever you want then,

    Might not work but i dont see why it wouldn't

    Warning: You should NOT use this mod if you have the Ad Management Mod by Jerm installed, any other advertisement mod or if you have manually inserted adverts into your pages.

    just a little heads up so you don't pork your forum. :D
