Help with Image resizing in wordpress

    I use fixed width thumbnail in my blog, when uploading an image the thumbnail generated by wordpress crops the top portion of the image.

    I would like to start the thumbnail from top left position, Anyone have an idea for this?

    un-tick the proportional resize in settings

    thanks for your advice, but I need the exact dimensions to fit in my template, what can I do for this?

    :) yes, give the exact dimension but without tick on proportional, because WP proportional resize just su#ks.

    When I uncheck the propotional then the thumbnails are in different size than I specify :(

    then you'll need to upload proportional sized images if you need exact thumbs from WP or try to implement any script like phpthumb for example
