Help with htaccess

    Can someone help me with a redirect with a URL that has a $ in it? A site I am working on, one of their old URLs has a $ in it and I am trying to figure out how to redirect it since it has a $ in it:

    http://www.domain.com/junkyurl$inmiddle/

    needs to redirect to:

    http://www.domain.com/clean-seo-friendly/

    Any help would be appreciated!
