Help with Hostgator and Cpanel

I just signed up with a reseller plan from Hostgator to see if it can speed up my Joomla applications.

I am lost. I have the reseller packages set up as www.bjrtechnologies.com

It is listed in my accounts but I am now unable to add any new accounts or add any addon domains in cpanel. I do not know why. I should have unlimited addons.

The accounts are listed by domain names. So does that mean if someone buys a plan from me that they have to create a new account for every domain name.

Please any advice would be great. Hostgators knowledgebase is not as extensive as Dreamhost and I am stuck.

    Thanks ;)

    Hello,

Your reseller account will have 2 admin areas. Your www.bjrtechnologies.com/cpanel is for the webpage sort of stuff for creating the webpage associated with your site.

You will also have Web Host Manager that is used for the reseller side of things ... try going to:
www.bjrtechnologies.com/whm your passwords are likely the same.

Hostgator folks are great ... they are right on top of problems, they respond quickly to chat, emails or the support tickets. Chat only gets the first level techs, though. Use the support tickets when it is really broke.

    Good luck.

Do you know how to automate the reseller plan.

so maybe a future client sees a list of plans and i don't have to set up account and it will auto bill.

I beleive you can install Autopilot Billing Manager on your account free of charge, or you can ask Hostgator to install it for you for $25.
