Help with google site description

    Recentlky purchased a domain from this forum, transfered to my new hosting account, but in google it still has the original description. Have tried adding meta tags, but with no index page as of yet, not sure where to put them, where ius the old description being sourced from????

    any help would be much appreciated as i am still learnign the basics of website building etc.

    How long has it been since you made the changes? You may have to wait up to a month before Google re-indexes your pages.
