Hi guys, A couple of my web pages were ranked in Google SERP (1 web page on 2nd page and 1 on 4th page of Google) for competitive keywords but for the past week or so, they are no where to be found in Google search results. those pages don't even show up in exact on in title searches either. I started building some back links for those pages lately through forum postings, article submissions and blog commenting (before they disappeared). Can any one help me understand if it is Google dance or my web pages are de-indexed by Google permanently? If latter is the case than how can I get them indexed by Google again? Thank you all in advance.
Either it is because of Google dance or your site is new one (Not more than few months old) If it is a google dance just wait for few more days, your site will come up again. and If your site is just few months old or as you said you have started link building lately, it happens and it is normal. Actually in this case Google checks for authenticity of your website. As it gets older, it will become stable in rankings.
Search for site:yourwebsite.com on Google. If you see your page on Google then it is included in the Google index. And just build links and wait. It takes few weeks / months for links to be found and take effect.
Yes there are some new changes has been applied by the Google and this make such issues with many sites. In this case you need to rethink on your site structure, linking, content etc.. and check if any thing going wrong then correct it and finally wait for your past rankings.
