My site went online last week in a beta version. Yesterday I started up a adwords account on google and also signed up on MIVA which is PPC as well. With google adwords I got 12 hits for yesterday and that MIVA company nothing yet. Is there a better one out there? A company is going to start on SEO when the site is completely finished, but after that idk. Where do I go from here? Any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
if u want traffic u need to try social media directories etc u must work patiently to see results it cannot happen overnight if u really want to know i have created a blog only for getting traffic u can read it and its my signature link
Perhaps rather than paying for traffic attempting to rank well in serps through link building and seo will have a better effect.
If you want traffic you must do either do one thing or both" I suggest" Market online or offline or BOTH I suggest, first advertise using e zine ads " solo ads" But you must not purchase a solo ad from websites that say 1 million visitors guaranteed, because those just don't work! I suggest getting targeted e zines that go to a particular group of people looking for a business opp or even a new affiliate program etc. Second i suggest writing 1 article a day, because article writing on any subject that you have value in , will show that read that you are informative and thus providing you credibility, sales and visitors. Third you can provide value on forums each and everyday! This will cause people to know who you are, know that you are informative , people will start to pm you there questions, you will provide value , causing sales, visitors and relationships! You can also master at least 1 social network because there are just to much to keep up with the joneses .but that is just my advice! Whether you tube, digg, or even twitter! Now for offline marketing is suggest investing in money looking drop cards, with you headline and your url! For example, if you wanted to go to a college campus and put about 500 drop cards in the commuter parking lot, your headline on the money looking drop cards will state, " Need money to pay for text books" or College student living on your credit card Or even Looking to make some extra money without leaving your dorm room. With offline marketing you have to get just creative, like drop card in public bathrooms, in library books.etc!! Well, getting traffic from PPC companies is not as easy as it seems. You have to do a lot of testing or else you will probably lose money. Anyway, with the proper testing you can get there, everbody can! As for SEO, I recommend that you take care of it yourself. Believe me it's much better that way because you'll know exactly what you're doing and you'll get more experience. Your Call! Hope that helps
You could try article marketing on the keywords your bidding on in PPC? twitter might work, an affilaite program and too many other ideas to list here.
If you go with PPC, you must first invest some money to find the keywords that convert... then SEO for them

PPC has never worked for me, probably because I never had the money to invest in it. Be patient and SEO to death!
