Thing is I made it with wordpress and moved it to my server for him and well he wants it to be on his windows server. I have no idea where I can find out where his windows hosting nameserver is. Your question is a bit confusing. Can you please explain it properly.

Where the site was originally hosted, where you moved it to and now where it is currently. Also mention the hosts.

So so sorry I was at work and got off the phone with the guy. He bought godaddy windows hosting and I built him a new site using wordpress using my hostgator linux hosting. For some strange strange reason he wants to finish off his godaddy hosting till its over even after I offered to host his site for free. (thats how bad I wanna get away from the guy.) So in the process I changed his godaddy nameserver to point to my host gator and after I built the site he wants it on his server and I can't figure out his godaddy hosting nameserver. I really don't want to godaddy but I might have to. :(

Ok, if you have the access to the godaddy domain manager, then login to the domain manager.

Tick the check box next to the domain name for which you want to change the name server and click name servers option above. These options are always disabled but as soon as you tick the check box next to the domain name, they will get enabled.

Next, you will be presented with three options:-

    - host domain here
    - park domain here
    - host domain elsewhere

You need to select the "host domain here" and submit. The name servers will now point to the godaddy hosting services. Most of the times, the change is immediate but sometimes there might be a small delay.

BTW, if you have any domain requirement, please do let me know. We have the best rates for the domain registration, transfer and renewals as well. Besides, you will also find many other affordable services. Just click the links in my sig to find out more.

    Hope that helps you friend.

Ok, this means that the godaddy name servers are in effect.

The page that you are seeing is the default welcome page. You will now have to move the contents to the godaddy servers.

If I am not wrong, the site earlier was hosted on linux servers and now its going to be hosted on the windows server. Just make sure that you do everything correctly.

The default welcome page was there for over 48 hours. He really needed the site up so I switched the name server back to mine.
    This is how it happened.
Godaddy Windows Hosing -> Hostgator Linux Hosting -> Godaddy Windows Hosting (doesnt seem to work) -> It is now back on my Hostgator Linux Hosting

Oops, I am sorry. I just forgot to tell you. Did you delete the index.html file in the root folder?

Again forgot to mention, you need to delete it on the godaddy server and not your's.
