    Dear all,

Its the 1st time I am posting here and I am not sure I m doing everything right.

Anyway, hope you can help me. I work for a non profit organization and every year we post a catalog online of our products. The flip page catalog tool is always active and every year our webdesign company only replaces the previous year catalog with the new one.

The catalog is simillar to this one http://www.freshcatalog.com/demo.

I have the impression that the webdesigners are over charging us. They know we are kind of clueless on these issues and are charging 2700 dollars for the upload of the new catalago which is 50 pages long.

Can anyone please explain what is the process of uploading a new catalog? how much work is involved?

    Thank you very much
    regards
    Pedro

Well, they might need to upload large files to the adoble flash application, and scale and fit all the pages.

    2700 dollar = 54 dollar per page.
This would mean like 2-4 hours per page.

I think anyone with a little adobe flash experience will gladly do it within a half hour per page.

    Hope this helps you,

    Kind regards,

    Maarten

    Dear Maarten
Thank you very much for your help. Its interesting that online catalogs like ISSUU allow the upload to be done in pdf, which is really simple. Not all platforms allow for that, I am guessing.
    thanks again
    regards
    Pedro
