i'm trying to send email from squirrel mail in my cpanel, but it keeeps bouncing back. iguess i need to do this "Be sure to enable SMTP Authentication in your E-mail client" any help how to do this
Depends on if it's your server, the version of squirrelmail you are using, etc. If you have a pop before smtp option in your config, you can use that - unless it is pre 1.4.16, because it's broken there.
"Be sure to enable SMTP Authentication in your E-mail client" >> Have you done it? In Outlook go to Tools > Email Accounts > View Or Change Existing Email Account > 'select your email account' > More Settings > Outgoing Server > My Server Requires Authentication.
sqirrel mail version is 1.4.13 and i am on a reseller account (not my server) i basically just want to send and recieve email using my domain address in the past i just used forwarders to a hotmail
If you are sending from web mail (squirrel mail) then you do not need to do any settings. If you are receiving any error then you just need to contact your host to fix it. Kailash
