I've seen some of the talk about Craig's list ads not showing up even though you get an email stating the ad is active. This is continually happening to me. I have a site that I am only promoting through Craig's List as it fits that type of marketing. I've tried waiting a few days before submitting ads. I've tried deleting active ads that are somewhat old now. I've tried submitting ads from different IP addresses. I've tried submitting ads to different cities (not at the same time) What else could I do....? Thanks
I have the same problem as you. My ads don't show up despite the email I get from them saying my ad is active.
"sigh". I could get really indept, but I already have before, search my posting history... Craigslist frustrated me for 2 months to the point of no return. DONT USE CRAIGSLIST, save yourself the stress and find yourself another marketing avenue. Some people are lucky and can use craigslist, i dont know what the hell they do, but they can do it... some people, just cant. Ive done everything possible, new ip, new email, blah blah blah blah blah etc etc... nothing will work. And i was able to post legit ads like a tv for sale, but couldnt post any affiliate ads. DONT DO IT. Giive up! LOL. Give up man. I dont want to see you go through what i went through. I tried for 2 months to get ads up on craigslist, they have people manually reviewing ads. I wouldnt be suprised if they had 200 people just sitting there ghosting ads all day... 2 years ago craigslist was heaven, now its hell.. but you will find some ppl who say they still post, and i see some posts still, so i would get them to post for me. No need in asking them what they do, i had one guy try to help me and still didnt work. Some ppl get lucky, some dont. It's nothing special they do.
thanks for the info...I figured this was the case. You are right, if I post an ad related to selling something, it seems to be ok, but an ad which includes my website seems to not show up. Oh well.....
