Help with Cpanel/WHM intial setup Resolvers

    I have purchased a VPS. When I login into to WHM it is asking me to do intial setup. I dont know what to give in the fields Primary Resolver * and Secondary Resolver *. I think I should not give the IP Address of the VPS.

    What should I give in this resolver fields? Please help me

    Hello there,

    You are correct, you should give it external resolvers. I tend to use a mix of Google DNS and OpenDNS:

    nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 208.67.220.220
nameserver 8.8.4.4
