Help with co-op

    Can someone give me some advice on the co-op.I have a pr3 site with 138 page's indexed by g,I have one add running on it but I only have a weight of 120 is this normal? also when I check my stats I have 0 , the co-op ads have been running for about a week and a half.

    To increase your weight:
    - get higher PR [nothing you can do about that right now, but more links to your site will help]
    - get more pages index by google [same as above]
    - put 5 advertisement spots on your page, that will give you more weight immediately.

    I have read over and over you get basically what you give so and it takes a while before new ads propogate through system so I would hold on. Have you checked MSN for backlinks? Supposedly they pick them up first.

    And to add to Smyrl's line: Your ads are shown in two different ways: to users, that's why this system exists. The also download a small image that counts the pageviews and that's what you see in your stats.

    but spiders also see the link (see smyrls tip to check with msn for back links) but do not download the image and so generate no 'view'.

    both are good: people see you ad and might click on it, spiders see your link and think your site is so popular that everyone is linking to it.

    You *are* getting impressions, but since your weight is so low it is just a tiny amount that doesn't even show up on your graph

    When I started using the co-op with the same amount of weight as virtualkev, the graph should grid lines: 0 - 0.2 - 0.4 - 0.6 - 0.8 - 1.0; so I guess even 1 view can be displayed in the stats graphic.

    All my sites are new so they have no PR.. What kind of impact can I expect on my weight when PR rankings are updated?

    Have you clicked "Enable" to activate your ad under the "My Pool of Advertisements"?
    Have you assigned enough weight to your ad?
