    Hi,

I have a site that I have recently uploaded to my server, but most objects are not displaying at all, and the warning line states : "Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysqld.sock' "

There is an SQL database that I use with this domain and it has worked fine before. How can I fix this?

    Thank you very much

Correction - it now says "mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource"

What kind of cms are you using? The files you are uploading are probably looking for a sql database that you have on your local computer, wich they obviously cant find on your server :)

If you have important information in your database on your computer you could copy it to your server. But its not really a easy process.

The best thing might be to install the cms on the server, then copying the necessary files to your server afterwards.

Correct me if I did not understand your problem.
    Hope this helps :)

Thanks, I think you understood correctly. I don't know which cms I am using, but it looks like this: [IMG]

How can I find out which cms is it so I know how to install it?

    Thanks again

By that screenshot it does not look like it one of the most popular CMSes, I dont know what cms it is.

If you look through the readme files in your folders, you should be able to find out what cms you are using

I don't have any readme files - the programmer didn't write any
Is there any other way to find out which cms is it?

It might be a custom cms. If so, somebody else should probably do this for you. Perhaps the programmer who made it for you? I could take a look at it if you want to, but I imagine it would take some time and I would have to charge you for it :/
