I recently purchased a domain name from godaddy.com and would like to set up a simple website to use as a promotional tool for this years event.

The event is a charity basketball game in memory of a former high school teammate who drown the summer before his senior year. He was a great kid who came from very little and was on track to achieve more than anyone would have expected. All the proceeds go to The Cory Moore Scholarship, given to a first-year college student.

Is there a way to use my godaddy domain name with Iweb? Any help/comments would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

I wish you the best with this charity event. You can set up a web site if you have a domain name with godaddy at any hosting company all you need to do is change the DNS settings for the domain name though godaddy.

With many of these however you are going to need to know how to build a web site html etc. On the other hand you may stand a better chance at simply creating a squidoo.com page or wetpaint.com page they are simple to set up and will take all the design work away from you. Wetpaint also offers kind of a interaction between you and your visitors as well.

If you need additional help please do just ask and again wish you all the best.

You can look out for the charity web templates online and with the help of Godaddy, upload the website by changing the contents in the template, but to edit the template, you need to have atleast some HTML knowledge
