Help with changing background

I dont have acess to Photoshop anymore, and was wondering if someone could change the background color of this image to black for me.

Just a quick suggestion.
After removing the background, select the image (the worrior) and smooth the edges. Feathering is also a good way to finish the image

 

With marquee selected click the "Refine Edge" button @ the top of the screen. (cs3/4 I think)

seems it got a bad cut on the edges. if you want to get a higher quality other than this, pm me and i'll submit it within 24 hours.

 

feathering is a very good method , to give a final look to the image and also in some cases , covering it up well too !!

It is very easy to do this in PS. But what happened to your PS version?

 

you can feather or you can blur the edges of the picture so that the cut is clean..
