Help with changing adsence

    Hi guys

    I have brought a site and am trying to change the adsence so i benifit from it. I have changed the pub-number and assumed thats all i needed to do?

    However my site doesnt have any adsence now? Any suggestions

    Why don't you make your own ad slot through your adsense account instead of just change 'pub-id' :confused: I suggest you to make your own adsense code and add it at your site then give it 10-15 minutes to appear ads on your site.

    I don't get what you are talking about. But however, if you need to start earning from adsense, of course you must have an Adsense account. And if you already have one, register your won codes and have the channels so that you can track your earnings well. :)

    Sorry yes im a total noob when i comes to websites and adsence this site was my learning curve

    I have a google adsence account as it is connected to a affliate site that was made for me www.compare-holiday-deals.com

    I thought it would be easy enough just to change the pub-number to mine without playing around with anything.

    So just changing the id wont work then?

    Dont only change the pub-number but re-copy the code from your adsense account and paste it to your website

    usually changing the pub-id should take care of this. but if it doesn't work for some reason, just generate your own ad code with your channel ID and that should take care of it
