Help with Canadian phone to work in India

    I've a Nokia cell phone which I bought from Canada , I'm in India now , and I inserted the Indian Sim but Hell , I cant get how to make the phone work with Indian sim , Its taking Bell's Settings and keeping my phone on Roaming...

    Its a Nokia 6275i

    I'll be back in Canada after a month , so if I reset it , will I be able to use back the phone without sim in canada?

    You have to change the GSM Frequency Band of Your Mobile
    In India here i think GSM is 800/900/1800 only

    I dont know how to change that but i have read a article about it where it says that imported phones dosent work in India.
    The guy also wrote that only Airtel is universal and it will work ... for rest you have to change the band

    Nokia 6275 is a CDMA phone and therefore I doubt it will work in India. You need a GSM phone.
