Help with Blog hosted at Wordpress.com

Hello, I've been using a free blog hosted at Wordpress.com for my site.
I would like to put Adsense..or at least something of that sort on my site but whenever I put the code onto my site, Wordpress deletes it.

    Any way around this?

    Thanks.

I don't think they are allowed. Get a domain name and hosting, or a blogger blog.

Wordpress.com does not allow Javascript. No monetization from Adsense or any other source.

Way around this- buy your own domain and hosting ( doesn't cost too much), download wordpress from wp.org and get going.

When I said wp.org in my previous post, I meant wordpress.org.

Great support, great flexibility- you can do many things once you get the hang of it.

Installing it manually is easy, but most hosts have fantastico which allows you to do a one click install.

I moved my blog to my new host and everything seems to be working now.

Yeah, I think they stated that on Wordpress FAQs... but it looks like you already figured everything out and switched to your own host...
