Im looking at becoming a Trainee Financial Advisor (UK based).
There is a company based just round the corner from me (it looks fairly small i would say about 15 staff max).

As far as im aware there are no positions available but it doesnt hurt to ask. I have my CV sorted but im wondering what i should put in the letter/email to the company. Ive done covering letters when applying for jobs that i know are available but never been in this position before.

Has anyone done this? Do you have any examples of letters i can write?

    Thanks

I would just let them know who you are, your background and why you want to be a financial advisor.

I dont want to go in as i dont think i will show off my full capabilities in person, where as if i send my CV in i think it would show im capable of doing the job and then if i got an interview i would stand a better chance

just tell them to put your CV on file so if a job does come up then they will come to you
