Help With Affiliate Links

    Hello,

    I have a site that is laid out like an ecommerce store, each products has a picture, some product info and a price and 'buy now' button.

    My question is which would you think would generate more revenue;

    having tha affiliate link linking to the corresponding product page e.g domain.com/product_01.html

    or

    having the affiliate link linking to an add to cart command e.g domain.com/cart.php?action=add&product_id=01

    Neither really, make a pitch for each of the products your interested in promoting and get a domain for them. Make a Mailing List for each then create 5 Followup Emails each with your Affiliate Link included in the body and then write Articles on that Niche and in your Author Bio slap a link to your Pitch.

    Thanks H3x, however I already have the website set ups and I am receiving a lot of UVs everyday (150+), so I just want to find the best way of getting these visitors to convert.

    You are not very clear or may be I am not getting you right. What is really important is to have very good content explaining benefits of the products you are promoting. If you promote them as an expert rather than a marker, you will get better results. So, even before you think of how to place, think about good SEO content form well researched keywords. You rank well in search engines and visitors get to buy the products because they are convinced by the information you provide on your website.
