help with adwords

I need help with adwords. I've set up several campaigns over the past 2 months with adwords. I'm seeing very little to no results. I get a few sales here and there but they're not enough to put me into profit.

I have not lost any money. I just haven't made any.

    Here's the process I use.

    1. I go to clickbank to find an item. After I find an item, I read the landing page. I look for potential keywords on the landing page. If I find some, I write them down.

    2. I go to adwords and type the ad, then I add the keywords that I found on the landing page.

    3. Then I use word tracker to find more keywords and then I add what I feel is relevant to my product.

That's pretty much it. I usually try to compile a list of 20 keywords. Is that too much or too little?

What am I doing wrong? Some of my projects dont even get any impressions. Others get thousands. The most clicks that I've gotten on one day is about 50.

    Please advise.

    1.) Don't use clickbank.

2.) That's a start, but not a very good one. Do some research on "keyword research" to find all the different types you should be looking for.

    3.) Screw word tracker.

    Other then that, you're fine.
