I bought a site and went through all the pages to change all the adsense code from thier "pub-##############" to mine. I thought thats all you need to do since that identifies YOUR account. However, if you look at www.freecokecodes.com you will see "page cannot be found" where all the adsense shopuld be. Can anyone help?
changing only the "pub-##############" leaving all the rest may mean a violation of TOS as TOS clearly say that alteration of code is prohibited. insert in full your own code instead. also the NEW code G has since a while is different from the very old years ago. may be the new code includes some publisher data beyond the pub number. I mean the new "google_ad_slot = "5214530932"; again to test CREATE your own code and then insert that fresh code into your pages and make sure you have enabled in your account that adsense code on your NEW site may be displayed see >> https://www.google.com/adsense/adsense-products >> allowed sites !!
Multiple people gave you the answer to your question in your previous thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=825396 Look at my last post which links to the W3C validator.
IF the adsense code is correct then that code always loads in an empty editor window even when used outside the web site however your code inserted in your page does NOT work I am quiet sure you did NOT follow the advice given below to CREATE your entire code from scratch the code inserted currently /* 728x90, created 2/23/08 */ google_ad_slot = "5214530932"; hence it is OLD code modified !!! and that ad_slot may never have been created for YOU but for a previous owner or another site. if you access YOUR adsensse account and take ONE set of code and open that code in "VIEW" mode in your professional HTML editor then correct code of a valid adsense account WILL show up even if outside your page.
Ohhhhh OK...I will go right now and completely recreate new adsense blocks to replace old ones. We;ll see how that works. Thanks.
